Beyond The Orphanage
& MAP Communications:
Workplace Giving

MAP Communications is a founding corporate partner of Beyond The Orphanage and has been supporting our work for several years. After hearing Geoff Hucker speak in 2016, some MAP employees asked how they could personally contribute. In response, MAP has set up a Workplace Giving Program so that any staff member can give directly to BTO.

We are very grateful for the impact that has been achieved thanks to MAP’s generous support, and we thank you for considering Workplace Giving.

who is beyond the orphanage?

Beyond The Orphanage began its work in Ethiopia over 10 years ago. Our mission is to help change the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable and at-risk children who, through no fault of their own, are facing life on the street. Many of the children have lost their parents to HIV-AIDS and/or are HIV+ themselves. We provide support to these children regardless of race, religion, or any physical or mental disability.

Our unique foster-care/kinship model doesn’t just meet the immediate needs of children – it also provides a tailored program of long-lasting support which allows the children to progress until they become independent adults.

how does it work?

Donations are deducted automatically from your salary each pay period. Your total donations for the year will appear on your W-2 form, so you will be ready for tax time.

easy and cost-effective

You can decide exactly how much you want to donate and set it up via the payroll department.

Workplace Giving is a very efficient and cost-effective way for us to raise the vital funds we need to support children in our care. By giving in this way, you will help us keep fundraising costs down.

where will the money go?

The power of collective giving is enormous, especially for programs based in developing countries like Kenya and Nepal. Even a small amount given regularly is enough to provide a child with a home, food, clothing and education. Your donation will have an immediate and enduring life-changing impact for children!

.

how do i set it up?

It’s easy! Simply click on the yellow button, complete the Workplace Giving Enrollment Form, print the form, and be sure to sign it.

Unfortunately, Enrollment Forms cannot be emailed, as the Payroll Department must have a signed authority.  Please give your signed form to the MAP Payroll Department (or your Team Leader). It will take a few days to be processed, and then your donations will start with the next pay cycle.

Any questions, please send an email to bto[@]mapcommunications.com
