Make an impact with
Workplace Giving is a brilliant way to make the most impact with your donations. It’s tax-effective for you and cost-effective for us, so it ticks every box. Whether you are an employee or an employer, we would love to talk to you about supporting BTO through Workplace Giving, and how we can work together to implement it.
Here’s how it works
Workplace Giving allows employees to make regular donations to registered charities from their salary or wages through their payroll system. As a registered charity in the USA with 501(c)(3) status, your donations to Beyond the Orphanage through Workplace Giving are tax deductible if you itemize deductions.
Workplace Giving ticks the boxes
Once you decide on the level of giving that suits you, the donations are deducted from your pre-tax salary or wages each pay period.
It’s a cost-effective way to give: donating through Workplace Giving helps us keep fundraising administration costs down, so funds can go to where they’re needed most!
It’s easy: decide how much you want to donate and simply organize it with your payroll department.
It’s convenient: your deduction happens through payroll so there’s no need for you to keep receipts. If you itemize deductions, tax time will be a breeze.
It creates positivity in the workplace: Workplace Giving has a positive impact on the culture of your workplace and allows relationships to be built around important causes.
Where will the money go?
The power of collective giving is enormous, especially for our programs based in Kenya and Nepal. Even a small amount given regularly is enough to provide a child with a home, food, clothing and education. Your donation will have an immediate and enduring life-changing impact for the children in our programs!
