Do you want to join a supportive team and help change the lives of some of the world’s most at-risk children? We are extremely excited to be taking on some great new challenges in the new financial year, and we’re looking for some purpose-driven volunteers to help us.

COVID-19 has had a big impact on our partner programs and we are looking for some digital marketing and design professionals to help us expand our online presence and grow our supporter base, so we can do more to help some of the world’s most at-risk children.

AVAILABLE ROLES:

Digital Marketing Volunteer

This volunteer role will play a key part in growing BTO’s online presence and supporter database to help expand our operations and create more impact for at-risk children.

 

Working closely with the Marketing & Communications manager this role would suit an experienced digital marketer looking to diversify their portfolio, and help create positive change for some of the worlds most vulnerable children.

Hours: Approximately 5 hours per week – this may fluctuate depending on key projects and fundraising appeal periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation of social media and content strategy
  • Create and schedule social media content
  • Create and manage paid search campaigns via Google Ad Grants
  • Assist in the creation of paid social media campaigns for key fundraising and lead generation activities 
  • Monitoring metrics, insights & strategic digital media planning, as well as reporting

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Social Media platforms i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Snapchat etc, as well as community management tools
  • Experience designing and executing digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience in  Adwords / Google Ads / Google Ad Grants
  • Expertise in Remarketing / Social Media Marketing
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, G Suite, Google Docs and Dropbox
  • Have experience using and reporting on Google Analytics
  • Experience using  Mailchimp 
  • Experience working with NFP or fundraising activities is desirable
  • Ability to work autonomously 

 


 

Graphic Design Volunteer

 

This volunteer role will play a key part in growing BTO’s online presence and creating a suite of collateral to help BTO tell our story.

Working closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager and Fundraising team this role will be responsible for the design and delivery of branded collateral across print and digital.

 

Hours: Approximately 5 hours per week – this may fluctuate depending on key projects and fundraising appeal periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver BTO’s annual report and quarterly financial reports
  • Templates for use across social media 
  • Design of key digital and print marketing collateral
  • Creation of digital marketing content including email and social media 

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient skills in Adobe Creative Cloud – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to manage and prioritise time and work to tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with and developing Brand Style Guides
  • Experience designing for a range of print and digital mediums
  • Experience in digital content production for social media
